Semua unit dasar Mitsubishi Compact PLC Melsec FX3UC memiliki catudaya DC 24 Volt dan tersedia dalam versi dengan I/O 16, 32, 64, atau 96.Semuanya dapat diperluas hingga ke konfigurasi maksimum I/O 384 dengan menambahkan modul ekspasi dan I/O Networks.
